Article (6) of the Executive Regulations of the Consumer Protection Law promulgated by Law No. 181 of 2018 specifies the data that the supplier is obligated to put on the goods, as follows:
1 – The name of the commodity.
2 – Country of origin.
3- The name, trade name, address and trade mark of the producer or importer, if any.
4 – Production date.
5- The shelf life of commodities that have a period of time for their validity for consumption.
6- Conditions of handling, storage and method of use.
7 – Types, features, dimensions, weights and components.
8- The warranty period for the goods covered by the warranty.
9- The default age.
10- In cases where the use of the product may harm the health and safety of the consumer, the supplier shall place on the product an indication of the correct way to use it, how to prevent potential damages, and how to treat them if they occur.
