Hossam Haiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, announced the launch of the electronic platform for establishing companies within a few days.
Prestige said, starting next year, dealing with the authority will be electronic to speed up completion and facilitate investors.
Regarding residency procedures for foreigners, he said that a maximum of 10 days has been set for the response, and in the absence of a response, the answer is considered acceptance and approval.
He said that private service free zones have been opened, indicating that this contributes to attracting investments.
Prestige revealed that the Unit for Solving Investors’ Problems in the Council of Ministers, from June 2022 to May 2023, dealt with 1,949 complaints, 1,421 complaints were dealt with, examined, and reported to the investor, of which 75% were in favor of the investor.
He added: Some of the problems presented to us since the investor has faced since the nineties, and we are working to solve them immediately, noting that work is not only being done to solve the problem of the investor with the problem, but work is being done to remove this problem completely so that it does not face another investor.
